2009 Top Producers

LYNNFIELD-Northrup Associates recently honored the firm’s Top 5 Producers for 2009 during the firm’s annual meeting and awards breakfast.  At the meeting, Northrup’s Broker/Owner, Richard Tisei reviewed the company’s growth over the past year and outlined plans for an active 2010.

“Northrup is pleased to recognize these Realtors with this honor. Each recognized is a leader and innovator, empowering local homebuyers and sellers with valuable information, helping them to make informed real estate decisions,” said Broker/Owner Richard Tisei.

At the meeting, Helen Bolino was named overall top producer for listings and sales in 2009.  Bolino has been the number one agent in Lynnfield sales and listings for nine consecutive years. This award represented her investment of many hours of personal service and attention to her customers and clients. “Helen’s trademark has been her knowledge of the real estate market, her tireless work ethic and superior customer service,” said Tisei.

Marjorie Youngren was recognized for outstanding sales achievement. “In 2009, a very challenging year, she sold over $10,000,000 worth of homes. Marjorie has earned the distinction as a being a Top Producer each year since she has been with Northrup, said Tisei.  Marjorie is an excellent negotiator and problem solver and able to maneuver through all types of issues that typically arise during a transaction.

Personal service and attention to detail contributed to Donna Snyder achieving the distinction of being among the Top Producers,” said Tisei.  For more than 17 years Donna has been dedicated to providing her clients with the utmost attention, skill and knowledge to offer her clients the finest in real estate services available.

Throughout her career, Marcia Poretsky has consistently been one of the region’s top producers, specializing in single-family and condominium sales. “She has earned this distinction for her years of dedication, professionalism and has established a strong reputation for excellence and created a large following of satisfied customers,” said Tisei.

“Gale Rawding has a unique combination of skill, wealth of knowledge and 22 years of impressive real estate experience that have made her a consistent top producer for the past 11 years. Gale has built relationships based on trust, respect, integrity and complete customer satisfaction,” said Tisei.

Overall the company’s market share and total volume grew both locally and regionally in 2009 ending the year with $79,236,993 in total units sold.

The 2009 Massachusetts Association of Realtors® Website Design Contest
gathered some of the best real estate websites across the state.  Two categories were used to divide the entries: broker/office websites and agent/individual websites. One winner and two runners-up were chosen from each category based on criteria ranging from the quality and originality of content to the visual design, interactivity, and use of multimedia in the website.

We at Northrup Associates are pleased to announce our website has won
Second Runner Up for featuring strong property search functions with mapping and the option to save searches for later. Our site was also noted for providing a map tool to find open houses in the area as well as a our comprehensive section called Condo Central which highlights condos in the north shore.These features, in addition to the well designed layout, helped push it into its award winning spot.

2009 REALTOR® of the Year

Each local association is urged to select, as its REALTOR of Year, one outstanding Realtor member who has made the greatest contribution to the advancement of the real estate profession and the community at large from January 1, 2008 to the present time.

This year’s REALTOR of the Year, Richard Tisei, Designated Realtor of Northrup Associates, Realtors, in Lynnfield, was served the Association in many ways throughout the years. He has chaired or served on the Programs, Membership, and Professional Standards committees-to name a few. He has also chaired or served on the Board of Directors in several officer positions-Secretary/Clerk, Vice President and currently President elect.

Richard, who is also a Massachusetts Senator, has worked very closely with MAR’s legal and legislative teams to ensure that Realtor priorities are heard on Beacon Hill.

He has led the fight against proposals that are harmful to homeowners and the real estate industry in general.

The 2009 ROTY is also a Director of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors Board of Directors. On the national level, he has attended several national meetings including RELO conferences in Miami, San Antonio and Providence. Richard holds the CRB designation.

One of the outstanding features of this ROTY is his incredible involvement in the civic and human service agencies throughout the region. For his unselfish and devoted commitment he has been honored by the Massachusetts Association of the YMCA, the Alliance for the Mentally Ill, the MA council of Human Service providers, the MA Home Health Care Association, the Coalition of Family and Advocates for the Retarded, and the MA Silver Haired legislature.

In addition, Richard was honored for his outstanding participation in the Eastern Middlesex Association of Retarded Citizens.

In the area of business accomplishments, his independent real estate company recently celebrated its 57th Anniversary.

Richard’s faithfulness to the principles of organized real estate have been demonstrated by his strong advocacy to further the principles of good real estate practices, to fight proposals that would create transfer taxes, and support laws that will change licensing requirements for real estate licensees- to ensure that brokers and agents have more education and experience.
